Summer Bishil (born June 15 in 1985) is an American actress best recognized for her role as Margo as Margo in The Magicians, a Syfy drama series based on a fantasy that ran from 2015 until the present. The actress was previously recognized by playing a 13-year-old Lebanese-American girl Jasira Maroun as she goes through a series of tumultuous personal experiences in the context of the U.S. war in Iraq in the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film Towelhead. Then, in 2007, Variety named her one of the 10 actors-to-watch. Crossing Over, a 2009 thriller that focuses on crime, in which she portrayed a female character named Taslima Jangir, was selected as an Independent Spirit Award nominee for the Best Female lead category.
